Those of us who could get out of our houses, and felt a need to visit with one another after being isolated so long by the weather, met last Thursday for an informal lunch at Bistro 221. I thought there might be 6-8 of us ... 16 showed up! (That doesn’t even count Dan Foss and his 2 co-workers, who couldn’t stay). It was truly heart-warming to see one another, hear our survival stories, and re-affirm our relationships. We missed those who couldn’t make it...hopefully you all have power and internet by now.
And coming up this week: another chance to socialize without an agenda. While our team of intrepid volunteers travels to Los Barriles this week, the rest of us will meet Thursday evening 3/18, 5:30pm at Round Table Pizza. No RSVP needed; just show up (come a little early to place your dinner order if you wish to eat).
Otherwise, your Environmental Sustainability committee is finalizing a short questionnaire for you to fill out In follow-up to the video series we’ve been watching over the last 6 months. Please fill it out when you receive it, to give guidance to your ES committee in proposing further steps forward for our club. We’d appreciate a reply by 4/14/23 (approx one month away).
