The 49er Breakfast Rotary Club of Nevada City will be hosting the Rotary District 5190 Area 4 Annual Community Awards.  The event postponed due to snow has been rescheduled for Wednesday, May 10 from 5:30-7:00PM at Miners Foundry Cultural Center. Cost is $25/person payable through our Club. Please RSVP for Community Awards by Thursday, May 4.
 
Key selection criteria include that these Nevada County businesses, individuals, and volunteers exemplify the 4-Way Test, Service Above Self, and Personal/Business Ethics.

Business of the Year
A business that has devoted significant time and efforts to community service initiatives and has positively impacted the community. It has a positive social and/or economic impact on the Nevada County area. The recipient must have shown outstanding growth, significant achievements in innovation, and superior community involvement through the commitment of time and resources.
 
Citizen of the Year
An individual who, through personal involvement, leadership abilities, and selfless giving of their time and talent over the previous 12 months, has positively affected Nevada County and the lives of its citizens.
 
Volunteer of the Year
A business, organization, or individual that has devoted significant time and efforts to community service initiatives that positively impact the community.
 
Rotarians as well as those who have received the award in the prior two years are not eligible for nomination in 2023.
