Nevada City Rotarians, Family, and Friends,

We look forward to inducting Armando Ambriz-Salud on Thursday at Round Table Pizza. Armando is transferring from the Rotary Club of Woodland Luna Vista. He was appointed Nevada County’s new clerk-recorder / registrar of voters in September 2025. Armando brings an enthusiastic passion for service.

A produce rich lunch by Chris, Judy, Jim and Nan filled us up so nicely Thursday, along with Cathy's Cookies. Thank you all for the efforts and vital information in your talk, including encouragement to minimize “Red Meat” for a number of reasons.

Vegetarian lasagna was served at our Foundation Dinner Friday, hosted by Grass Valley South. PDG Dennis and Karen McDonald with Mary and me made up our Nevada City contingent. Rotary
International Director Wyn Spiller spoke on the “Unite for Good” theme by expanding on the thought of... Creating Lasting Impact ... as we see with work and efforts through The Rotary Foundation.

John Hensley is extending a special invitation to our Rotary family to celebrate and socialize on his 80th birthday on Saturday April 11th at 5-8 at historic 5 Mile House

Best regards,
Pearce
