Area Speech Contest ~ Nevada City Rotary Host
Six students competed in the Area 4 Speech Contest - 3 freshmen and 3 seniors. Per Rotary District 5190 rules we award 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and all others are defined as a tie for 4th.

Graham Gartemeyer, Senior at NU. Graham will represent Area 4 at the District 5190 Conference on May 2 in Reno.

Area 4 Music Contest
Area 4 held our annual Music Contest at Nevada Union High School on Saturday, March 28. The winner was Oliver Cook a trumpet player who is a sophomore at NU.
Oliver advances to District 5190 Music Contest to be held at the Far West Fest District Conference on Saturday May 2.
