Ray Kinman expanded our imagination through his stories of becoming a master woodworker on Disney’s Imagination team! We had a great turnout of Rotarians.

For this week’s social, we look forward to greeting Grant LaCrosse, our recent RYLA student again. Many of you met him at Paws and A Cause when he recruited a group of Future Business Leaders of America from Ghidotti as volunteers!
On Saturday January 10, Cathy, Tom R, Paula and Walt planted over 250 daffodils and did general cleanup in Penzance Park. We have more to plant!
The tradition started decades ago when Penzance, Cornwall shipped bulbs to Nevada City after their first Sister City visit. The bulbs got held up in customs but Nevada City Rotary started the tradition in honor of the original gift.
Nevada City Rotary is again returning to Los Barriles, Baja Sur California. Each year our Club partners with the Rotary Club of Los Barriles Cabo Este and East Cape Health Clinic to host multiple wellness clinics in the Los Barriles area. Students are screened for diabetes, eye sight, dental, respiratory, and skeletal issues along with overall wellness checks.

Fly in and out of Cabo San Lucas. Participate in multiple days of wellness clinics shoulder to shoulder with fellow Rotarians from the US and Baja along with time for recreation in the beach community of Los Barriles.
Board Meetings are held on the second Monday of the month. Our next Board meeting is January12 at 5:30pm via Zoom.
