On Saturday January 10, Cathy, Tom R, Paula and Walt planted over 250 daffodils and did general cleanup in Penzance Park. We have more to plant!The tradition started decades ago when Penzance, Cornwall shipped bulbs to Nevada City after their first Sister City visit. The bulbs got held up in customs but Nevada City Rotary started the tradition in honor of the original gift.
