A big thank you to our volunteers who will fill stockings with gifts on December 7 or transport 250 stockings from the Cinderella Project to Bright Futures on December 8 for distribution.  Enjoy the gratitude expressed by Bright Futures for Youth:

I am sending a heartfelt “Thank you” to you and your members for supporting our Rocking Stocking project this year. Your efforts to stuff the stockings and help with transport made it possible to put smiles on many, many children this Christmas. We look forward to working with you in 2023!

Nevada City Rotary has made a $100 donation to the BFFYouth Rocking Stockings project to help make the holidays special for low-income boys and girls in our community.

The holidays are right around the corner, and we know this will be a difficult season for many families in Nevada County, where one of every five children lives in poverty.

Making this holiday season special for low-income children of all ages in our community is the commitment of Bright Futures for Youth.
