Y.O.U.T.H Coalition: (Youth Opposing the Use of Tobacco for Health)

Our mission is to bring youth together to discuss issues, concerns, and raise awareness related to the effects of tobacco products for the health and safety of young people and others in our community. 

Shannon Glaz, Nevada County Public Health

Shannon has worked for Nevada County for 23 years. Her career as a health educator focuses on prevention. Currently she serves as the Health Education Coordinator for the Tobacco Prevention Program, working with youth and adult coalition members in changing public policy and educating the community on the harmful effects of tobacco and vaping.  

Our Club has enjoyed working with Sharron during the Nevada County Health Department's Flu Clinic.
