Our inaugural 2026 Social meeting at Round Table was a delight. Grant LaCosse, accompanied by his father Brett, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to attend the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) program. He filled us in on many aspects of his Ghidotti education where he expects to graduate with his AA degree as well as High School diploma. He is looking at Cal Berkeley or USC to major in Business Management.

Let’s Unite for Good this Thursday, 1-22-26 at Bodhi-Hive 12:15 pm for our fourth Thursday (Fifth on 1-29 is Dark) when we will dive into a discussion about the Bear Yuba Land Trust and the Monarch Meadows Project. BYLT’s Monarch Meadow project is part of the Planting the Seed initiative, a community-based effort to transform Nevada County into a monarch flyway.
Nevada City Rotary is again returning to Los Barriles, Baja Sur California. Each year our Club partners with the Rotary Club of Los Barriles Cabo Este and East Cape Health Clinic to host multiple wellness clinics in the Los Barriles area. Students are screened for diabetes, eye sight, dental, respiratory, and skeletal issues along with overall wellness checks.
