”Hell Week” as we called the week before college finals, or for our club, the last week before our biggest fundraiser in three years: Hungry Games II – Second Helpings! Most all of our members have either been in on the planning sessions, have volunteered to help out on the day of the event, sold tickets, or have donated an auction item – or all of the above We thank everyone for their efforts so far, but the big push is still ahead. Our Club meeting this Thursday noon, Nov. 10 at Bistro 221 will be all about fine-tuning our planning and making sure that everyone is “on board”. Raffle tickets for our Winner Take All $1,200 restaurant package are $100 and include entry for 1 person.
Event tickets are $25 in advance; $35 at the door. Event tickets are also sold at Harmony Books in Nevada City and Bookseller in Grass Valley.
