Nevada City Rotary was proud to have hosted our Pulled Pork and Shredded Chicken booth on Treat Street as our annual community service fundraiser literally for decades. Treat Street, is and has been, about community.  Lined with non-profit organizations of all sort, Treat Street continues to support our community in a significant way.

For years, the Club had a booth across Treat Street from the current location until a tree fell and crushed it.  In 1984 the Club built a new booth.  At that time Rotarians were selling Pepper Bellies with Chili.

In later years, the Club set up grills to cook and serve BBQ ribs and other meats before finally landing on Pulled Pork Bar-B-Q sandwiches along with BBQ beef, Italian Meatball, and then shredded chicken sandwiches.  Whatever the second fare, 2/3 -3/4 of the sandwiches sold were Pulled Pork.

Nevada City Rotarians remove mementos from Treat Street in June 2021.

Tall Pines Nursery is taking over the booth and will continue the Pulled Pork tradition with their own special Tall Pines Root Beer BBQ sauces!
