Every three years, representatives from Rotary districts worldwide gather in Chicago to review and vote on proposed legislation. The Council on Legislation is an essential part of Rotary’s governance. In conjunction with the International meeting, Rotary Clubs are asked to review their Club Bylaws.  Furthermore, the Bylaws of Rotary International provide that each club admitted to membership in RI shall adopt this prescribed standard club constitution which is also linked below.

Our Club Board commissioned Secretary Robin and Membership Committee members, Doug, Dennis and Cathy to review and make recommendations for updates to our Bylaws. Carolyn is planning to call for a vote on the documents at our regular meeting on Thursday.

A special shout out to PDG Doug who is the District 5190 Council on Legislation Representative 2020-23 and participated in the Chicago meeting this spring.
