12075 Auburn Road (Off of McCourtney Road, near the county fairgrounds), Grass Valley
When: Saturday, April 26, 2025
Time: 8:00 am - 2:00 pm. Come and go as your schedule permits.
Food/check in:
- Rotarians, please check in and out at the table in the courtyard at the house.
- Coffee, bottled water, hot water and teas, and doughnuts will be available.
- LUNCH IS BEING PROVIDED BY THE NORTH STAR HOUSE CONSERVANCY.
IF YOU HAVE SPECIAL DIETARY CONSIDERATIONS (e.g., Vegan, gluten free, etc.) PLEASE EMAIL RUSS WILDER AT rhwilderucd@yahoo.co BY APRIL 24TH SO WE CAN SEE WHAT ACCOMODATIONS CAN BE MADE FOR YOU.
This Workday is basically a large-scale spring yard cleanup of the grounds around the North Star House. Please wear:
- Sturdy footwear (NO OPEN TOED FOOTWEAR!)
- Long pants
- Long sleeve shirt
- Leather work gloves
- Ear protection if you are operating a gas or battery powered tool
- If a participant wants, N95 type face mask
If you can bring any of the following tools, please advise Russ Wilder by April 24th:
- Small chainsaw
- Weed Whackers - a lot are needed
- Lopping or Pruning shears
- Pruning saws
- Telescoping pruning saws
