2025 Penzance Bulb Planting

Nevada City Rotary — in large part thanks to Cathy W-B’s generosity — has been planting bulbs in Penzance Park for decades. The tradition started when Penzance, Cornwall shipped bulbs to Nevada City after their first Sister City visit. The bulbs got held in customs but Nevada City Rotary started the tradition in honor of the original gift. Photos of bulbs are from earlier years’ plantings.
