Last Week's Meeting - John Griffin & Dave Buchla of the NC Astronomer's Club

John &  Dave gave our club an excellent tutorial on Astronomy with particular attention to eclipses; the different types, and their frequency. Dave has been known to travel the world to view elcipses in the far corners, even if they lasted less that a minute or so.   Dave also told us to save the date of August 21, 2017, since a full solar eclipse will be viewable in our area that morning. John also invited us to join the Nevada County Astronomer's club, which meets monthly.   In the picture, President Walt is flanked by John Griffin on the left and Dave Buchla on the right.
