Join the team: March 9 -14, 2026 for an unforgetable project experience.
Nevada City Rotary is again returning to Los Barriles, Baja Sur California, MX. Each year our Club partners with the Rotary Club of Los Barriles Cabo Este and East Cape Health Clinic to host multiple wellness clinics in the Los Barriles area. Students are screened for diabetes, eye sight, dental, respiratory, and skeletal issues along with overall wellness checks.
Fly in and out of Cabo San Lucas. Participate in multiple days of wellness clinics shoulder to shoulder with fellow Rotarians from the US and Baja along with time for recreation in the beach community of Los Barriles.

Mike Bratton, long-time State Farm Insurance Agenda will speak on "the Future of Insurance in California." Mike has been a local State Farm Agent since 1984. A graduate from Chico State University with a BA in communications/marketing, Mike is a highly recognized State Farm agent and generous community member. Over the years his agency has qualified for State Farm Awards including State Farm Legion of Honor, State Farm Ambassador for Life, State Farm Life Honor Club, State Farm SVP Club, and State Farm President’s Club. He is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and an Active Rotarian with the Nevada City 49er Breakfast Club. This year, we are partnering with Peace Lutheran Church as they do their regular CRV bottles/cans collection event, on Saturday May 30. The public can make it a one-stop recycling day at the church to drop off your CRV bottles and cans (along with plastic #1, 2, and 5) with the Church team, then leave all your Lithium Ion (rechargeable) devices and batteries with our Rotary team. Eligible items include cell phones, tablets, laptops, electric toothbrush handles, e-shavers, vapes, wireless headphones and earbuds, Bluetooth speakers, power tool batteries, e-bike batteries, video game controllers, etc.
