This Week’s Meeting
Watershed Science in Nevada County Schools with Sol Henson

This Week
Sol Henson, Education Coordinator with Sierra Streams Institute returns to Nevada City Rotary to present Watershed Science in Nevada County Schools.  Join in a special welcome for Sol.  Our Club knows Sol for his wonderful work as part of our Uganda Project.

Last Week - Adventures and Wine
A HUGE THANK YOU and CONGRATULATIONS to all for a fun-filled successful Adventures & Wine Auction Gala.  A tremendous push to the finish led by Carolyn and Gary supported by Robin, Dennis, Ellen, Cathy, Nicole, Ben, Nancy, Gayle, Judy, Kelly, Dave and all the other club members. Key roles were fille by loyal spouses Mike and Tom. GV Ken Holbrook took up the banner for our club donating his pig and soliciting numerous donations!

A big thank you to Jay Cooper and Allison Schwartzendruber for creative auctioneering!  We had almost 200 donations of all sorts and sold $13,700 (??? $) in live and silent auction items. Family, friends, fellow Rotarians and tourists joined in the bidding, dancing and just plain fun.  Many, thanks for the generosity of our donating merchants and our bidders! And to the fabulous Dream & the Dreamer, you rock!

Lots of photos are posted at  https://www.facebook.com/NCRotary Send Robin more to post if you have photos.  A few quirks added some flare...including PG&E knocking our power for our teardown!

Next Week
Next week is our 1st Thursday mixer, 5:30PM at the National.

Thought for the Week
When we do the best we can, we never know what miracle is wrought in our life, or the life of another.
