THE PRESIDENT'S BELL HAS BEEN STOLEN! After eight months of successfully discouraging thievery, President Dave was given the No-Bell Prize. Dr. George Rebane arrived early and performed a scientific experiment, discovering a way the bell could be moved, at least momentarily, without setting off the motion alarm. Dr. Rebane replaced the bell, but when the President was graciously welcoming visiting families, he turned around and... ma bell was gone! Any clues? ROTARY'S "BUSINESS PEOPLE OF THE YEAR" RECOGNIZED IN THE UNION. This article appeared in the Feb 23 paper (Rotary's 111th birthday) describing the excellence of Rotary's choice for this year's award. Many thanks to Nicole Dillard for coordinating this outreach, and for making such an effective selection.
