Eleanor's Expressions

Hail and Farewell! This is my last Rotario article as President. I want to thank pP David Kenitzer for continuing to publish this for our Club, even after he moved his job to Sacramento. It has certainly made life easier for me!

Thanks to the Board members who have worked diligently for the Club this year: PE Carolyn Inglis (Programs), pP Ellen Davis (Treasurer), IPP Michael Colantuono, Cathy Wilcox-Barnes (Club Service), Nicole Dillard (Vocational Service), Walt Stickel (Membership), pP Nancy Kemp (International), Austin Farrar (Youth), pP Bob Buhlis (Foundation) and Derek Poppell (Sergeant-at-Arms). And thanks to the Membership for your support of the Club — without you, this would all be meaningless!

Stephanie Ortiz, Executive Dean of the Nevada County Campus of Sierra College will be our speaker this week, updating us on all that is going on at the college. She’ll also tell us about the Osher Scholarship, something in which all of the Nevada County Rotary Clubs are involved.

Lastly, best of luck to President Carolyn Inglis and her Board as they embark on a new Rotary year!
