Next Week's Meeting: Next week's
meeting on May 14th will not be held at the National Hotel.
Instead, it will be an offsite tour of the Booth Family
Center, which is located at 12390
Rough and Ready Highway in Grass Valley (please click
the link for a map and interactive directions). The Center is
operated by the Salvation Army; Miriam
Keene will be hosting the meeting.
Club Visioning: The Club Visioning is this Saturday
(May 9th). Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
The purpose of the event is to arrive at a consensus vision /
business plan for the future of our club for the next five years.
Members should arrive at the Superintendent of Schools
Office by 8:50 am on Saturday and intend
to stay until 1:00 pm. All are welcome, but all
09/10 board and committee chairs are strongly encouraged to attend.
2009 District Conference: The District Conference is the
culmination of what the 2,700 Rotarians in 53 clubs within our
district accomplish. And this Rotary year, we will all come together
on May 15-17 (next week!) at the Peppermill
Resort Spa Casino in Reno to discuss, celebrate, and
plan for the future. It's not too late to register! More details
