Only 23 Days Until The Radio Auction! Radio
Auction items are continuing to flow in. As of last night, we
have collected 142 items worth more than $32,241.
That's about 64% of this year's $50,000
goal. Great job, folks! We're in the final stretch, so
let's make a hard push at the end here! In fact, you only have
one week to turn in your donation forms in order
for the item to be listed in the newspaper circular!
10th Annual Radio Auction: This year's Radio Auction is coming
up on March 24 and will be broadcast over KNCO
830AM from 9:00am until 2:00pm. Remember to get your Gold
Level Donations of $250 or more back to the Radio Auction
Committee as soon as possible to maximize the number of ads your
donors are in. To make submitting items easier for the members,
the Committee has setup a fax line: (530) 687-9717.
Once you have the "Item Donation Form" filled out, you
can either fax it or bring it to the regular club meetings.
District Assembly: This year's District Assembly
is on Saturday, April 14 at the Grand Sierra Resort
(previously known as the Reno Hilton). More details to
come...
District Conference: Mark your calendars for
April 25 - 29 for the upcoming District
Conference at The Nugget in Sparks, NV.
From now through March 27, The Nugget will be holding
a block of rooms with a special rate of $99 per night for Rotarians.
Just call the resort at 800-648-1177 and mention Block #G5190-7.
