Speech Competition: This week's meeting has been rescheduled to Tuesday, April 3 for the Area Speech Competition at the Miners Foundry. Where else can you get a $20 lunch for $10??? Our club will pickup the other half. Also, congratulations to Gabe Olson (1st Place), Kaytlin Smith (2nd Place), Justin Patt (T-3rd Place), Ben Rencher (T-3rd Place), and Emily Wilde (T-3rd Place) for their participation in last week's speech competition. The 1st and 2nd place winners will compete at the area-level today. The winner from that event will then compete at the the District Conference on May 6 for a $1,000 grand prize.
District Assembly : This year's District Assembly will be held at the Reno Hilton this Saturday, April 8. The club will pay the registration fee, which includes a continental breakfast, lunch, and session materials. Sessions are from 8AM until noon with "Rotary 101" immediately following the noon lunch. Kidd Kenitzer will be sending out an email to coordinate a dinner for those going up on Friday night as well as carpooling for those driving up on Saturday morning.
Radio Auction Items: Last week, we sold 21 out of 31 items for an additional $1,041. We added two late items, so please see the remaining 12 items in the next section. We'll bid on them at next week's regular meeting.
Baja Trip: We are organizing a trip to San Jose Los Cabos, Mexico on April 28-30 to visit our "brother club" and to do a service project at the Paolo Escopeda School. If you are interested in going, please contact Stacy Hart or John & Sandra Hensley.

The Crown's Corner The following Radio Auction items did not receive any bids over the weekend. The Auction Committe will take the highest bidder for each item at each meeting. Next week, only items that did not have bids will be left on the list.
